Helping Hands Pre School |
|
Scoil Mhuire is very lucky to have the Helping Hands facility for the children and families in our community. Helping Hands provides excellent care for families by opening the school to those in the morning who wish to drop their children in from 8am for the Early Risers Club. They also run ECCE pre-school classes within the school. Supervised care is also provided when the school day ends. Firstly for those in the Infant Classes from 1:40 and then for the rest of the pupils from 2:40. Children can be collected up until 6pm in the evenings. Helping Hands Preschool and School Age Care is a degree led service that aims to support each individual child's learning and development in a safe and fun large indoor and outdoor environment.
The Helping Hands co-ordinators, Caroline and Nicola provide excellent care for the pupils while they are with them. Time is allotted to get homework done and the children are kept active, using the school facilities and also through the excellent facilities and equipment that is on offer in the Helping Hands Room. |
